Kept Close is a native iPhone app. Contact data is processed on your device and is not collected or transmitted by us. We have no account system and no servers that store your address book.

What we collect

The app: Data Not Collected. Kept Close does not collect your contacts, tags, notes, photos of business cards, relationship links, or identifiers.

This website: we do not collect your address book. If you email us, we use that message only to reply. We don't sell addresses, and we don't use them for anything else. You can ask us to delete a message at hello@keptclose.app.

On-device processing

Duplicate detection, merges, deletions, tags, smart lists, reminders, family connections, and business-card scanning all run locally on your iPhone. Your private judgments never leave the device.

The map exception

The optional contacts map asks Apple to geocode addresses so they can be placed on a map. That request sends addresses only, never names, never tags, never notes. If you don't use the map, nothing leaves the phone.

App Store purchases

Kept Close Pro is billed by Apple. Payment details are handled by Apple under their privacy policy. We do not receive your card number.
